The event will also examine issues that can arise after a consumer has obtained their discharge from a protected trust deed or sequestration.
Pre Entry Awareness:
Delegates should have a basic understanding of personal insolvency in Scotland, the solutions available and the legal criteria and framework surrounding them.
The day will equip delegates with a greater awareness of the legal and practical issues that arise when advising consumers on personal insolvency, and what issues can arise during and after insolvency in relation to the administration of their estate. It will enable advisers and legal practitioners to negotiate more effectively to protect the interests of their clients. For more information on learning outcomes, see here.
